CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, MCP, CCSA, EXIN Cloud Computing, ISTQB-ISEB , OCJP, என 13 வயதிற்குள் 12 சர்வதேச கணினிச் சான்றிதழ்கள்விசாலினியின் கைகளில்.

தான் கற்றதோடு மட்டும் நிறுத்தவில்லை இவர்,

மாணவர்களைத் தொடர்ந்து கல்லூரிப் பேராசிரியர்கள், துறைத் தலைவர்கள், முதல்வர்களுக்கு Seminar வகுப்பு எடுக்கும் விசாலினிக்கு   Chhota Bheem, Barbie என்றால் உயிர்.

இவரது திறமையை அறிந்த Indian Overseas Bank  நிர்வாகம் சர்வதேச தலைமையகத்துக்கு வருமாறு விசாலினிக்கு அழைப்பு விடுத்தது. .அங்கு  உலக அளவிலான IOB  GM தலைமையிலான ITprofessional களுக்கு  1/2  மணிநேரம்  வகுப்பு எடுக்கச்  சொன்னார்கள்.   ஆனால் விசாலினியோ 2 மணி நேரம் பாடம் நடத்தி அனைவரையும் பிரமிக்க வைத்தாள்.   அப்போது  விசாலினிக்கு வயது 12 தான்.   IOBஇன்  Chairman and Managing Director   Thiru. நரேந்திரா  உடனே விசாலினியை நேரில் பாராட்டினார் .

இத்தோடு நிற்கவில்லை விசாலினியின் சாதனைப் பயணம்.

சர்வதேச அளவில் நடைபெறும் கணினி மாநாடுகளில் தலைமை விருந்தினராக உரையாற்ற அழைக்கப்பட்டபோது,  விசாலினிக்கு வயது 11.

சர்வதேச கணினி மாநாடுகளில் பன்னாட்டு அறிஞர்கள், ஆராய்ச்சியாளர்கள், கல்வியாளர்கள் கூட பார்வையாளராக மட்டும் செல்வதற்கே அதாவது attend பண்ணவே 2000 ரூபாய் முதல் 10,000 ரூபாய் வரை கட்டணம் செலுத்த வேண்டும்.

ஆனால் விசாலினியோ 11 வயது குழந்தையாக இருக்கும் போதே ஒவ்வொரு சர்வதேச கணினி மாநாடுகளிலும் 70 முதல் 80 நாட்டு அறிஞர்கள் மத்தியில் தலைமை உரையாற்றிய பெருமைக்குரியவர்.

இதுவரை டெல்லி, சென்னை,மத்திய பிரதேசத்தின் போபால், கர்நாடகவின் பெங்களுர், மங்களூர், குடகுமலை என இந்தியா  முழுவதும் 10 சர்வதேச கணினி மாநாடுகளுக்குத் தலைமை விருந்தினராக அழைக்கப்பட்டு,Computer Networking குறித்த பல்வேறு நுணுக்கங்கள்,சிறப்பம்சங்கள்குறித்து உரை   ஆற்றி உலக அரங்கில் இந்தியாவின் பெருமையை நிலை நாட்டியுள்ளார் விசாலினி.

பாஸ்போர்ட் பற்றிய தகவல்கள்

பொதுவாக எல்லா இந்தியர்களும், பாஸ்போர்ட் வாங்கத் தகுதியான வர்கள் தான். ஆனால், போலீஸ் விசா ரணையில் அவர்களுக்குத் திருப் திகரமாக இல்லையென்றாலோ, அல் லது அவர்கள், ஏதாவது சட்டம் மற் றும் தேச விரோதமான நடவடிக்கைக ளில் ஈடுபட்டிருப்பதாகத் தெரியவந் தாலோ, அவர்களுக்கு பாஸ்போர்ட் தருவதில்லை.

ஒரு முறை வாங்கும் பாஸ்போர்ட் டை எத்தனை வருடங்களுக்குப் பயன் படுத்தலாம்?

ஒரு முறை கொடுத்த பாஸ்போர்ட்டை பத்து வருடங்களுக்குப் பயன்படுத்தலாம். மீண்டும் அதை அதற்கான கட்டணத்தைக் கட்டிப் புதுப்பித்துக் கொள்ளலாம். ஒன்பது வருடங்கள் முடிந்தவுடன் எப் போது வேண்டுமானாலும் புதுப்பித்துக் கொள்ளலாம். மீண்டும் 10 வருடங்களுக்கு வழங்கப்படும். இப்படி புதுப்பிக்கும்போது, 15 நாட்க ளுக்குள் புதிய பாஸ்போர்ட் கிடைத்துவிடும்.

5 Toxic Beliefs That Ruin Careers

People who hold these beliefs tend lack the energy required to create their own success. Don’t be one of them.

he Book of Proverbs in the Old Testament is, in my opinion, one of the best business books ever published.  One passage, in particular, contains a world of business wisdom: “As a man believes so is he.” (23:7)

In the past, I’ve written in this blog about the beliefs that make people more successful.  However, I’ve observed that there are five other beliefs that consistently make people less successful. Make sure you don’t subscribe to any of these

1. My self-worth is based on what others think of me.

Some people define themselves based upon how they guess their boss, co-workers, relatives and friends see them. When they are convinced that others think poorly of them, such people lack the self-confidence necessary to consistently take action.

2. My past equals my future.

When some people experience a series of setbacks, they assume that their goals are not achievable. Over time, they become dispirited and discouraged, and avoid situations where failure is a risk.  Because any significant effort entails risk, such people are then unable to make significant achievements.

3. My destiny is controlled by the supernatural.

Some people believe that their status in life–or even their potential as a human being–is determined by luck, fate, or divine intervention.  This all-too-common (and ultimately silly) belief robs such people of initiative, making them passive as they wait for their “luck” to change.

4. My emotions accurately reflect objective reality.

Some people believe that their emotions are caused by external events. In truth, though emotions are determined by the perception of those events, combined with preconceptions about what those events mean. Such people find it difficult or impossible to "get out of their own heads" and see situations from another person's viewpoint.

5. My goal is to be perfect or do something perfectly. 

Because perfection is unattainable, the people who seek it are simply setting themselves up for disappointment. Perfectionists blame the world (and everything in it) rather than doing what's necessary to accomplish extraordinary results.  That's why "successful perfectionist" is an oxymoron.

New Evidence Supports Theory of Extraterrestrial Impact

                                                                                Science Daily  — An 18-member international team of researchers that includes James Kennett, professor of earth science at UC Santa Barbara, has discovered melt-glass material in a thin layer of sedimentary rock in Pennsylvania, South Carolina, and Syria. According to the researchers, the material -- which dates back nearly 13,000 years -- was formed at temperatures of 1,700 to 2,200 degrees Celsius (3,100 to 3,600 degrees Fahrenheit), and is the result of a cosmic body impacting Earth.

"These scientists have identified three contemporaneous levels more than 12,000 years ago, on two continents yielding siliceous scoria-like objects (SLO's)," said H. Richard Lane, program director of National Science Foundation's Division of Earth Sciences, which funded the research. "SLO's are indicative of high-energy cosmic airbursts/impacts, bolstering the contention that these events induced the beginning of the Younger Dryas. That time was a major departure in biotic, human and climate history."These new data are the latest to strongly support the controversial Younger Dryas Boundary (YDB) hypothesis, which proposes that a cosmic impact occurred 12,900 years ago at the onset of an unusual cold climatic period called the Younger Dryas. This episode occurred at or close to the time of major extinction of the North American megafauna, including mammoths and giant ground sloths; and the disappearance of the prehistoric and widely distributed Clovis culture. The researchers' findings appear June 11 in theProceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.

Morphological and geochemical evidence of the melt-glass confirms that the material is not cosmic, volcanic, or of human-made origin. "The very high temperature melt-glass appears identical to that produced in known cosmic impact events such as Meteor Crater in Arizona, and the Australasian tektite field," said Kennett.

"The melt material also matches melt-glass produced by the Trinity nuclear airburst of 1945 in Socorro, New Mexico," he continued. "The extreme temperatures required are equal to those of an atomic bomb blast, high enough to make sand melt and boil."

The material evidence supporting the YDB cosmic impact hypothesis spans three continents, and covers nearly one-third of the planet, from California to Western Europe, and into the Middle East. The discovery extends the range of evidence into Germany and Syria, the easternmost site yet identified in the northern hemisphere. The researchers have yet to identify a limit to the debris field of the impact.

"Because these three sites in North America and the Middle East are separated by 1,000 to 10,000 kilometers, there were most likely three or more major impact/airburst epicenters for the YDB impact event, likely caused by a swarm of cosmic objects that were fragments of either a meteorite or comet," said Kennett.

The PNAS paper also presents examples of recent independent research that supports the YDB cosmic impact hypothesis, and supports two independent groups that found melt-glass in the YDB layers in Arizona and Venezuela. "The results strongly refute the assertion of some critics that 'no one can replicate' the YDB evidence, or that the materials simply fell from space non-catastrophically," Kennett noted.

He added that the archaeological site in Syria where the melt-glass material was found -- Abu Hureyra, in the Euphrates Valley -- is one of the few sites of its kind that record the transition from nomadic hunter-gatherers to farmer-hunters who live in permanent villages. "Archeologists and anthropologists consider this area the 'birthplace of agriculture,' which occurred close to 12,900 years ago," Kennett said.

"The presence of a thick charcoal layer in the ancient village in Syria indicates a major fire associated with the melt-glass and impact spherules 12,900 years ago," he continued. "Evidence suggests that the effects on that settlement and its inhabitants would have been severe."

Hermes of Los Alamos National Laboratory; Andrew Moore of the Rochester Institute of Technology; James C. Weaver of Harvard University; Douglas J. Kennett of Pennsylvania State University; Paul S. Immune Cells in the Gut May Improve Control of HIV Growth

Science Daily — The findings of a new study in monkeys may help clarify why some people infected with HIV are better able to control the virus. They also may pinpoint a target for treatment during early HIV infection aimed at increasing the supply of certain immune cells in the gut, which the study shows could be an important factor in limiting HIV growth in cells throughout the body.

HIV and SIV infections cause severe CD4 T cell loss in the gut during early infection. As a result, the intestinal mucosal barrier, like the body's second skin or front line of defence against pathogens, is compromised. The "leaky gut" causes bacteria normally located in the gut (the normal flora) to migrate out and activate the immune system throughout the body with disastrous health consequences. "The immune activation contributes to higher replication of the virus. And so the question is, why do some patients progress from infection to AIDS faster than others?" Abel asks.The study was led by researchers at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) and included Kristina Abel, PhD, an assistant professor in the department of microbiology & immunology at UNC, at the time of the study a faculty member at the University of California, Davis (UCD). "The research involved a rhesus macaque model of HIV, monkeys who were infected with simian immunodeficiency virus, SIV" Abel said. "The course of SIV infection in these monkeys is quite similar to that of HIV in humans."

This new study looked at the balance between certain immune cell populations that might influence disease outcome. The study shows the presence of a subtype of CD4-positive immune cells called Th17 (T helper 17) cells in the gut "could influence disease outcome."

A report of the research appeared in the May 30, 2012 online issue of Science Translational Medicine.

Th17 cells are commonly found at mucosal surfaces and activate epithelial or outer layer barrier cells to secrete antimicrobial molecules, thus blocking disease-causing bacteria from entering. Abel points out that they also stimulate the production of "tight junction" proteins that keep all the cells that make up the intestinal barrier in close contact, "so that bacteria of the normal flora or their products cannot leak out."

The researchers wondered if there are more Th17 cells in the gut, would infection with the AIDS virus still have that early massive effect on gut permeability? And if you could keep the intestinal barrier intact during early infection with HIV, would it have an impact on the severity of disease progression, on having less severe disease in the long run?

Results of the study suggest that the answers may be yes. Rhesus macaques with higher numbers of Th17 cells in blood and intestinal tissue before they are infected with SIV subsequently have lower SIV viral loads. "It appears they're more able to control the infection," Abel said.

The study also found that among animals given a drug that increases regulatory T cells and thereby suppresses Th17 cell development, disease progression occurred more rapidly, and they had higher levels of SIV virus six months after infection.

"The main message of the study is that the frequencies of certain immune cell populations in the normal, still uninfected individual are important in subsequent disease progression and outcome," Abel said. "The paper also suggests that treatment aimed at increasing Th17 cells may improve the control of HIV growth by promoting an environment in which T cells having more anti-viral capabilities are produced."

The study's principal investigator was Dennis J. Hartigan-O'Connor, MD, PhD, from UCSF (now at UCD). Other investigators are Koen K.A. Rompay, from UCD; Bitoo Kanwar, from UCSF; and study senior author Joseph M. McCune, MD, PhD, from UCSF.

Support for the research came from the National Institutes of Health, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the California National Primate Research Center, the National Center for Research Resources, and the Harvey V. Berneking Living Trust.

Breast Cancer Risk Can Be Lowered by Avoiding Unnecessary Medical Imaging

Science Daily  — A report issued by the Institute of Medicine (IOM) last December reviewed all the available scientific data compiled to date about potential environmental risks of breast cancer -- factors such as pesticides, beauty products, household chemicals, and the plastics used to make water bottles.

Now, a special article in the journalArchives of Internal Medicine details the findings of the IOM report as they relate to medical imaging and what women can do to minimize their risk of breast cancer.Commissioned by the breast cancer foundation Susan G. Komen for the Cure, the IOM report concluded that there was not enough data to confirm or rule out that exposure to most of these factors caused breast cancer. However, the report did identify two factors that definitely increased risk: post-menopausal hormone replacement therapy and radiation exposure from medical imaging.

"The single thing that the IOM highlighted that a woman can do to lower her risk of breast cancer is to avoid unnecessary medical imaging," said Rebecca Smith-Bindman, MD, a professor of radiology and biomedical imaging, epidemiology and biostatistics at UCSF, who wrote the article, and who contributed to the IOM report.

While CT scans and other forms of medical imaging have revolutionized medicine and can be life-saving, said Smith-Bindman, women need to engage their doctors in the decision-making process and insist on the necessity and safety of all radiological scans they undergo.

"They should understand the risks and benefits and ask their doctor to explain the risks and benefits," said Smith-Bindman.

She suggested that patients ask their doctors questions like:

• Is this scan absolutely necessary?
• Is it necessary to do it now?
• Are there other, alternative tests?
• How can I be sure the test will be done in the safest way possible?
• Will having the scan information change the management of my disease?
• Can I wait until after seeing a specialist before getting the scan?

The study, published in Diversity and Distribution Journal, examined the geography, geology, climate, flora and fauna of the ice-free areas of Antarctica and indentified the biologically distinct Antarctic Conservation Biogeographic Regions. The lead author and Australian Antarctic Division terrestrial biologist Dr Aleks Terauds, said this is the first time there has been a continent-wide assessment of the biogeography of Antarctica using all of the available biodiversity data. Dr Terauds presented the new research at the prestigious Scientific Committee on Antarctic Research lecture at the Antarctic Treaty Consultative Meeting (ATCM) in Hobart. “Previously terrestrial Antarctica has been divided into 2 main areas based on aspects like geography geology or specific types of biodiversity,” Dr Terauds said. “The new research amalgamated 38,000 terrestrial records including the diverse biology such as microbes, invertebrates and plants. “It revealed a complex ecosystem which can be divided into 15 very distinct and potentially delicate biogeographic regions which are characterized by different climates, landscapes and species,” Dr Terauds said. Introduced species are identified as one of the biggest threats to the Antarctic terrestrial ecosystems, particularly in a warming climate. “With about 40,000 people visiting Antarctica over a summer, as tourists, scientists or station support personnel, there’s the potential more species will be accidently transferred to and within Antarctica.” “While quarantine procedures are already in place for inter-continental travel, such as cleaning clothing and equipment before arriving in Antarctica, there are less biosecurity measures for intra-continental movement,” he said. “The Antarctic Conservation Biogeographic Regions represent an important basis for biosecurity measures to manage the risk of species, including species native to Antarctica, being transferred from one biogeographic zone to another.” Editor's Note: Original news release can be found here.

Using GPS for weather forecasts

Image: BlackJack3D/iStockphoto The satellite-based Global Positioning System (GPS) technology that guides modern in-car navigation systems is now being used to improve weather forecasts. Researchers at RMIT University's SPACE Research Centre and the Bureau of Meteorology are using GPS and low earth orbit satellites to provide an additional type of temperature profile observation for use in weather forecasting computer models. The computer models draw on about a hundred thousand million current weather observations, including data from 30 to 40 complementary satellite instruments, to generate the information used by meteorologists to prepare weather forecasts. RMIT Adjunct Professor John Le Marshall, Research Program leader at the Bureau of Meteorology and former Inaugural Director of the Joint Center for Satellite Data Assimilation, a joint NOAA, NASA and DOD research initiative in Washington, said: "What we've found through our work with RMIT's SPACE research team is that the GPS data improves the real-time temperature field and the cross-calibration of the data from a number of satellite instruments. This in turn significantly increases the usable quality of the satellite observations. "We are actually able to measure the amount of bending in the GPS beam as it passes through the atmosphere. We can then use that knowledge to more accurately measure atmospheric temperatures and use this to improve temperature fields and calibrate other satellite readings. This extra information, in the data-sparse southern hemisphere, is now making our forecasts more accurate." Professor Le Marshall said that "since the research was completed and began being used in forecasts this year, we estimate the Bureau is now delivering forecasts of the same accuracy 10 hours earlier". He predicts that, as techniques improve, GPS data will also play a bigger role in climate monitoring and severe weather warnings. Professor Kefei Zhang, Director of the RMIT SPACE Research Centre, said that GPS as a revolutionary technology for Positioning, Navigation and Timing (PNT), provided a low-cost, powerful means of precise measurement of the earth environment. "Weather forecasting is dependent on accurate observations of the atmosphere surrounding the whole planet, but there is a significant lack of ground-based meteorological observation stations. That and the shortage of accurate surface level data from over the world's oceans and polar regions limits the reliability of climate and weather predictions. "This is particularly true for Australia, where people live along long coastlines but forecasters can only draw on very limited measurements from the middle of the continent and surrounding oceans.
