Scientific Reasons Why Good Men Cheat

 
Counselor M. Gary Neuman surveyed 200 cheating and noncheating husbands to get at the real reasons behind men's infidelity.
What makes men cheat? Marriage counselor M. Gary Neuman dug through past research on male infidelity and found that most answers came from the wife's point of view. Wouldn't it make more sense to ask the guys? he thought. So for his new book, The Truth About Cheating, Neuman surveyed 200 cheating and noncheating husbands to get at the real reasons behind men's infidelity — including what cheating men say could have prevented them from straying. Here, some of his findings:



48% of men rated emotional dissatisfaction as the primary reason they cheated.

So much for the myth that for men, cheating is all about sex: Only 8 percent of men said that sexual dissatisfaction was the main factor in their infidelity. "Our culture tells us that all men need to be happy is sex," Neuman says. "But men are emotionally driven beings too. They want their wives to show them that they're appreciated, and they want women to understand how hard they're trying to get things right." The problem is that men are less likely than women to express these feelings, so you won't always know when your guy is in need of a little affirmation. "Most men consider it unmanly to ask for a pat on the back, which is why their emotional needs are often overlooked," Neuman says. "But you can create a marital culture of appreciation and thoughtfulness — and once you set the tone, he's likely to match it."


66% of cheating men report feeling guilt during the affair.

The implications are a little scary: It isn't just uncaring jerks who cheat. In fact, 68 percent of cheaters never dreamed they'd be unfaithful, and almost all of them wished they hadn't done it, Neuman says. Clearly, guilt isn't enough to stop a man from cheating. "Men are good at compartmentalizing feelings," Neuman explains. "They can hold on to their emotions and deal with them later." So even if your husband swears he would never cheat, don't assume it can't happen. It's important for both of you to take steps toward creating the marriage you want.

77% of cheating men have a good friend who cheated.

Hanging around friends who stray makes cheating seem normal and legitimizes it as a possibility. The message he's subconsciously telling himself: My friend is a good guy who happens to be cheating on his wife. I guess even the best of us do it. You can't simply ban your husband from hanging out with Mr. Wandering Eyes, Neuman says, but you can request that they spend their time together in an environment that offers less temptation, like at a sporting event or a restaurant for lunch rather than at a bar or club. Another strategy: Build your social circle around happily married couples that share your values — it'll create an environment that supports marriage.



40% of cheating men met the other woman at work.

"Oftentimes the woman he cheats with at the office is someone who praises him, looks up to him, and compliments his efforts," Neuman says. "That's another reason why it's so critical that he feel valued at home." Luckily, there's a clear warning sign that your husband is getting a little too cozy with a colleague: If he praises or mentions the name of a female coworker more than he would a male counterpart, your antennae should go up — and it's time for the two of you to set boundaries about what is and isn't okay at work, Neuman says. Is it acceptable for him to work late if it's only him and her? Can they travel together to conferences? Have dinners out to discuss a project? Ask him what he'd feel comfortable with you doing with a male colleague.

Only 12% of cheating men said their mistress was more physically attractive than their wife.

In other words, a man doesn't stray because he thinks he'll get better sex with a better-looking body. "In most cases, he's cheating to fill an emotional void," Neuman says. "He feels a connection with the other woman, and sex comes along for the ride." If you're worried about infidelity, focus on making your relationship more loving and connected, not on getting your body just right or mastering new sexual positions. (But know that sex does matter — it's one of the key ways your guy expresses his love and feels close to you, so be sure to keep it a priority.)

Only 6% of cheating men had sex with a woman after meeting her that same day or night.

Actually, 73 percent of men got to know the other woman for more than a month before they cheated. This means that you may have time to see the warning signs before infidelity occurs — you might even see it coming before he does. Keep an eye out for these common signals: He spends more time away from home, stops asking for sex, picks fights more frequently, or avoids your calls. Your gut reaction may be to confront him, but most men will deny even thinking about cheating — especially if nothing physical has occurred yet. Instead, Neuman suggests, take charge of what you can control — your own behavior — and take the lead in bringing your marriage to a better place. Don't hesitate to show your appreciation for him, prioritize time together, and initiate sex more. Give him a reason to keep you at the front of his mind, Neuman says. And be open about how you feel about what's going on between the two of you (again, without mentioning any third parties). Try, "I think we've started to lose something important in our marriage, and I don't want it to disappear." In the meantime, commit to keeping tabs on your relationship and doing what it takes to keep it working for you.

Why can’t men be faithful? Why do men think of ‘monogamy’ as a board game? Why is it so easy for men to break their marriage vows? Why is it that infidelity is deemed a ‘natural call’ for men? Is it because society is more tolerant of a man straying? Why is a man still a man when he cheats, but a woman who strays a pariah? Why does society always treat the cheating women as outcasts? Why is there a difference between the way the ‘Hester Prynne-s’ and the ‘Dimmesdale-s’ of our society are perceived?

Is it because biology defeats the conscience? Is it because patriarchal constructs help the man get away by placing the blame on women? Hard to tell. After all, it is, in part, all of the above and simultaneously none that explain the exception. Then, how does one explain the fluctuations in infidelity patterns, as examined in studies of over 6000 men? Whilst some men were found to be fiercely loyal, over 70% were found to engage in some form of infidelity. Infidelity examiners have tried to pin down the several causes behind this ever-shifting trajectory and failed to offer a single, definitive list of singularly generic reasons that explain adultery, in all its several forms. Every infidelity case is unique. However, researchers have found some scientific reasons that explain
 why good men cheat:

1. The power-and-biology mix


Daniel Kruger, a social and evolutionary psychologist at the University of Michigan’s School of Public Health explains that men, indeed, are on the planet to sow seeds. Biologically driven to be promiscuous, the achievers in the species tend to ride high on power and success. This, in turn, helps them attract more mating partners. Women fawn over guys at the top of their game and these acers one-up the rest by taking advantage of the same. Kruger notes that a sense of achievement or a victory boosts testosterone levels and fuels the desire for sexual variety, and that is why good men cheat.
 
2. The need for ‘control’
Many men are deluded by a false sense of ‘control’ that comes with bedding as many women as they can. Needless to say, the need for this inflated sense of control over their lives, coupled with a somewhat misguided feeling of invincibility causes them to take a leap from the ‘loyal zone’ to the realm of the rival territory. Joel Block, a specialist in love, relationships, and sexuality, deems this ‘misleading optimism’ an intrinsic flaw in men’s natures. He attributes much of the damage done in the area to the feeling of being ‘entitled’ to liaisons and an overconfident wiring that leads them to believe they’d never be caught. Tiger Woods being a case in point. His need to add as many notches to his belt, whilst also holding himself ‘entitled’ to the social privileges of having a beautiful wife, besides the money and fame led to a dangerous lapse in judgment, with him ending up cheating.
 
3. The genetic factor
Evolutionary psychologists have iterated and reiterated upon the influence of the genetic factor in infidelity cases. If a man hails from a family that has a history of sexual/emotional infidelity, there are higher odds of him cheating on his long-term partner too. Of course, there’s the genes and also, what’s in his jeans!
 4. The hormonal hammer
 
Here’s what happens here, in scientific terms. There are three hormones that modulate monogamy: oxytocin, arginine vasopressin, and testosterone. Oxytocin is released in the brain during sex, physical contact or nearly any positive interaction. Arginine vasopressin, on the other hand, stimulates mate and offspring guarding in male monogamous mammals. This is a crucial aspect of pair bonding. Testosterone is related to the libido and influences drive and musculature, actual tangible stimulants of sexual activity. The distribution of the first two indicates a monogamous inclination, but the crazy influence of the third incites promiscuity. As such, males tend to have socially monogamous brains but sexually promiscuous genitals. Testosterone is akin to the wild card in a poker game – it can turn the game around. 
 
 5. The tech-torture
Yes, this may come as a surprise but a recent study reveals that men, whose partners tend to be constantly on the phone or drooling over their laptops, become increasingly wary and insecure of their bond. As such, they direct their attention to tech-free and more ‘available’ zones, wherein, needless to say, lies many prize booties.
 
6. The danger drive.
A study in the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology reveals that men get off on the thrill of playing this dangerous game. It is no news that men, are by nature, lovers of risk. And whilst the scales they use to weigh the risks involved against the rewards available tend to initially tip toward the ‘rewarding elements’ of the game, they know that the flimsy scales can tip toward the other end, at any moment. It is the adrenaline rush of facing this danger head-on that gives them their kick, and that is why good guys end up cheating.
 
7. Fear of poor sexual performance
Consistent worries of inadequate, mediocre or poor sexual performance can translate into a real possibility of infidelity. Ongoing performance concerns or a persistent pattern of not being able to give and receive pleasure can push men to become disloyal.
 
8. The weird-wiring in women
 
Before you blame me for all the brickbats being hurled at members of the opposite sex or for writing a lopsided article, let me tell you this: I know that infidelity isn’t monopolized by either sex. I know that both men and women cheat, and that certainly explains my unbiased perspective in all previous articles on the subject. In the same vein continues the rationale behind this one. Studies have shown that women tend to be more attracted to an unavailable man or a married man, provided they are given ample social proof of his wealth, status, acclamation, and power. In a survey conducted in California, over 200 women were shown the picture of a single white man, working in the top position in a well-known company and with immensely rewarding social connections. 5% women said that they’d like to meet the man. The same picture was then shown to a different group of women, who were given the same details, albeit with one minor (major?) difference. They were told that the man is taken. 80% women wanted to meet the man. This rather twisted behavior was explained vis-à-vis the research team by citing that women tend to be attracted to a socially well-off man, especially if he has already been prescreened and deemed apt for mating. If the man isn’t bringing a long-term investment, women need to know that the sexual tradeoff is at least bringing great genes to the table. 


9. Nature beats nurture
 
When CIA Director David Petraeus risked it all for an affair with his biographer, Paula Broadwell, many social scientists and psychologists tried to understand the dynamics of this rather risky game. There is no question that the stakes were TOO high, and yet, Petraeus gambled. Baruch Fischhoff, a professor of social and decision science at Carnegie Mellon University, explains it from an evolutionary perspective. He states that in cases such as these, nurture is vanquished and nature comes out victorious. Man’s intrinsic need for ensuring gene survival wins over all cues of the ethico-moral compass. Cheating, as such, becomes a positive mechanism to ensure gene survival. This trait is highly indicative of an acutely heightened mating intelligence, says Michael Baker, a professor at Eastern Carolina University. The risks involved fizzle out when compared to the evolutionary drive to mate.
  

 
 



Ancient Maya Artifacts, proof of Alien visitations?

Newly released Mayan documents, i.e. artifacts, dating back at least 1300-years reveal that the human race is not alone and highly advanced technologies including space travel have likely existed for quite some time.  In what will soon be considered as the Holy Grail of extraterrestrial research, the Mexican government has released ancient documents proving the existence of E.T.’s once and for all.
Reports are popping up stating that the Mexican Government is prepared, and going to, release proof of  extraterrestrial life and ancient space travel. Recently released Mayan artifacts seem to show what look like flying disc shaped ships, along with alien entities, and will be showcased in an upcoming documentary.
The artifacts date back 1300 years and if proven real would be very definitive proof that we are not alone in the cosmos as intelligent beings, and that space travel has been around for well over 1000 years.


A short film called Revelations Of The Mayans touches on some detail on some of these artifacts. Produced by Raul Julia-Levy, he states that the documentary makers worked in collaboration with the Mexican Government for ‘the good of mankind’, with the order to collaborate on the project coming direct from the president.

Hoover and Glen canyon dam USA

On September 30, 1935, with a crowd of 10,000 people looking on in 102-degree heat, President Franklin Roosevelt dedicated what was then the world’s biggest dam. Situated on the Nevada-Arizona border, 30 miles southeast of Las Vegas, and stretching 1,244 feet across the Black Canyon, Hoover Dam took five years to construct. Built to control flooding along the Colorado River and provide water and hydroelectric power for California and the Southwest, the dam spurred tremendous growth in that part of the United States. Glen Canyon Dam is a concrete arch-gravity dam on the Colorado River in northern Arizona, United States, near the town of Page. The 710-foot (220 m) high dam was built by the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation (USBR) from 1956 to 1966 and forms Lake Powell, one of the largest man-made reservoirs in the U.S. with a capacity of 27 million acre feet (33 km3). The dam is named for Glen Canyon, a colorful series of gorges now flooded by the reservoir; Lake Powell is named for John Wesley Powell, who in 1869 led the first expedition to traverse the Colorado's Grand Canyon by boat.
A dam in Glen Canyon was studied as early as 1924, but these plans were initially dropped in favor of a dam in Black Canyon (the Hoover Dam, completed in 1936). By the 1950s, due to rapid population growth in the seven U.S. and two Mexican states comprising the Colorado River Basin, the Bureau of Reclamation deemed necessary the construction of additional reservoirs.However, USBR faced opposition when it proposed the Echo Park Dam in Utah's Dinosaur National Monument, which the nascent environmental movement saw as a legal threat to the status of protected lands. After a long fight, USBR agreed not to build the dam in Dinosaur, but only if the environmentalists did not oppose the proposed dam in Glen Canyon.
Since first filling to capacity in 1980, Lake Powell water levels have fluctuated greatly depending on water demand and annual runoff. Operation of Glen Canyon Dam helps ensure an equitable distribution of water between the states of the Upper Colorado River Basin (Colorado, Wyoming, and most of New Mexico and Utah) and the Lower Basin (California, Nevada and most of Arizona). During years of drought, Glen Canyon guarantees a water delivery to the Lower Basin states, without the need for rationing in the Upper Basin. In wet years, it captures extra runoff for future use. The dam is also a major source of hydroelectricity, averaging over 4 billion kilowatt hours per year.The long and winding Lake Powell, known for its scenic beauty and recreational opportunities including houseboating, fishing and water-skiing, attracts millions of tourists each year to the Glen Canyon National Recreation Area.
In addition to its flooding of the scenic Glen Canyon, the dam's economic justification was highly questioned;with what critics saw as unnecessary damage to the wilderness, it became "a catalyst for the modern environmental movement," and was one of the last mega-dams to be built in the United States.Critics of the dam cite the huge  from Lake Powell and harm imposed on the ecology of the Grand Canyon, which lies downstream; environmental groups continue to advocate for the dam's removal. Water managers and utilities argue that the dam is a major source of renewable energy and provides a vital defense against severe droughts.


Construction

As early as 1947, the Bureau of Reclamation had begun investigating two potential sites, both located in the narrow lower reaches of Glen Canyon shortly upstream of Lee's Ferry. One, just 4 miles (6.4 km) upstream, was originally considered the superior site, but the final decision was to build the dam 16.5 miles (26.6 km) upstream because of stronger rock and easier access to the gravel mining area at the confluence of Wahweap Creek with the Colorado. The dam site lay in a remote, rugged area of the Colorado Plateau, more than 30 miles (48 km) from the closest paved road, U.S. Highway 89, and a new road had to be constructed, branching off from Highway 89 north of Flagstaff, Arizona, and running through the dam site to its terminus at Kanab, Utah. Because of the isolated location, acquiring the land at the dam and reservoir sites was not particularly difficult, but there were a few disputes with ranchers and miners in the area (many of the Navajo Nation). Much of the land acquired for the dam was through an exchange with the Navajo, in which the tribe ceded Manson Mesa south of the dam site for a similar-sized chunk of land near Aneth, Utah, which the Navajo had long coveted.

In the early stages of construction, the only way to cross Glen Canyon was a suspension footbridge made of chicken wire and metal grates. Vehicles had to make a 225-mile (362 km) journey in order to get from one side of the canyon to the other. A road link was urgently needed, in order to safely accommodate workers and heavy construction equipment. The contract for building the bridge was awarded to Peter Kiewit Sons and the Judson Pacific Murphy Co. for $4 million and construction began in late 1956, reaching completion on August 11, 1957. When finished, the steel arch Glen Canyon Bridge was in itself a marvel of engineering: at 1,271 feet (387 m) long and rising 700 feet (210 m) above the river, it was the highest bridge of its kind in the United States and one of the highest in the world. By 1959, the bridge itself was a major tourist attraction and "motorists [were] driving miles out of their way just to be thrilled by its dizzying height."
Workers moved to the dam site beginning in the mid-late 1950s; the construction camp started out as a haphazardly organized trailer park that grew with the workforce. During the construction of the Glen Canyon Bridge, USBR also began planning a company town to house the workers. This resulted in the town of Page, Arizona, named for former Reclamation Commissioner John C. Page. By 1959, Page had a host of temporary buildings, electricity, and a small school serving workers' children. As the city grew, it gathered additional features, including numerous stores, a hospital, and even a jeweler. It was intended to serve a maximum population of eight thousand, accounting for the workers' families; the peak workforce would eventually exceed 2,500 in the busiest phases of construction.The engineer in charge of the project would be Lem F. Wylie, who had worked on Hoover Dam and had previously designed six other USBR dams.

In 1956, work began on the two diversion tunnels that would carry the Colorado River around the dam site during construction. Each of the tunnels was 41 feet (12 m) in diameter, with a combined capacity of 200,000 cubic feet per second (5,700 m3/s); the right-side tunnel was 2,740 feet (840 m) long and the left 2,900 feet (880 m). The right tunnel would be used for carrying the Colorado's normal flow around the dam site, while the left tunnel, 33 feet (10 m) above the water, would only be used during floods. The lower reaches of the tunnels would later be used to form the lower ends of the dam's spillways. About 182,000 cubic yards (139,000 m3) of material would have to be excavated from the diversion tunnels.
On October 15, 1956, President Dwight D. Eisenhower pressed a button on his desk in Washington, D.C., sending a telegraph signal that set off the first blast of dynamite at the portal of the right diversion tunnel. Drilling the tunnels through the porous Navajo sandstone abutting the dam site posed major problems for the excavation crews of the Mountain States Construction Company, which won the contract for the diversion tunnels in 1956. Transporting workers and equipment to the bottom of the canyon was extremely difficult. Initially, transport was done by barge from Wahweap Creek, but the fast current of the Colorado River could be dangerous. After a barge capsized, spilling tons of machinery into the river, a much safer cable-car system was installed. During excavation, the rock frequently broke apart or "slabbed" and collapsed into the tunnels, and metal bolts had to be drilled into the rock to secure it. The largest such event, on August 5, 1958, sent 5,200 cubic yards (4,000 m3) crashing down onto the upper portal of the left diversion tunnel.
Material dug out of the tunnels and the dam abutments on the canyon walls was used to build the two cofferdams to divert the Colorado River, which were complete in February 1960. The upper cofferdam was 168 feet (51 m) high, and it alone could store several million acre-feet of water to protect the dam site from flooding in the event that inflows exceeded the capacity of the diversion tunnels. On February 11, 1959, the right diversion tunnel was completed and began to carry the flow of the Colorado. The left tunnel was finished over three months later on May 19, 1959, slightly behind schedule.

Rune succeeds and soon strikes up a friendship with Rashid (al-Jabouri) and the two come up with a scheme to transport drugs from one part of the prison to another. But just as Rune starts to think he has gained stature in the jail's hierarchy, he finds out that achieving a position of power might be easier than maintaining it.
Co-written and co-directed by two former documentary filmmakers, R is a gritty prison drama with a documentary-like feel. Shot in Denmark's Horsens Prison, which was shut down a few months before filming started, and featuring plenty of real life ex-cons and prison guards in supporting roles, the film has realistic feel, which is only enhanced by its stark sound design, lack of soundtrack and austere cinematography. The performances are great and Tobias Lindholm and Michael Noer succeed brilliantly in presenting the power struggles and pecking order in these institutions. R was nominated for four Bodil Awards, winning a Special Award as well as Best Film and Actor, it won the FIPRESCI Prize and Dragon Award for Best Nordic Film at the Göteborg Film Festival, and walked away with eigth awards at the Robert Festival, including Best Film, Director, Screenplay, Actor and Cinematography. If you like bleak and brutal prison dramas, 

The star, Johan Philip Asbek, looks like a cross between Leonardo Dicaprio and Ray Liotta, and has the charisma and acting chops to carry the film. The film at times needs carrying, because it never leaves the bleak existence of the prison confines, and that naturally wears on the viewer. The other supporting actors were also amazing and had me convinced they had to be ex-convicts to be so believable. And the score is an incredible ambient work that really nails the intensity of the film.

CHEMISTRY LAW OF ATTRACTION ART OF SCIENCE

 

The Law of Attraction is based on the laws of attractive and repulsive force first introduced by Emperdocles, Greek pre-Socratic Philosopher, and later expanded upon by Plato. Plato asserted the first law of affinity that likes tend to attract to other likes.

Through the application of affinity to chemical systems, Albertus Magnus, also known as St. Albert the Great, a Dominican friar and bishop, introduced the four laws of affinity.

In the late 1600's, Isaac Newton proposed that chemical affinities were due to particular forces that tended to follow similar laws of planetary motion. Though other individuals, such as French physician and chemist Etienne Geoffroy who expanded on Newton's affinities by introducing a refined law of affinity in the early 1700's, and French chemist J.P. Macquer who later published six truths of chemical affinity, had prominent influence regarding the development on the Laws of Attraction, Newton is considered to be the one who discovered the laws.

However, it best be known that ancient Greeks knew from the observation of magnetics that opposites attract and likes repel.

Today the term 'Law of Attraction' is a household buzz word due to recent popularized films and best selling books. The laws are described as an effective tool for bringing forth your wishes while repelling lack, disease, and other negative energy one may prefer to avoid. The practice of expressing gratitude is said to emanate positive energy, and like a vibratory wave the energy is cast out to the universe. Our thought of a wish already being achieved is said to cause the wish to be immediately true, returning back to you the like energy of the wish as a part of your reality.

In this way, we are to understand that we have the ability to manifest that which we desire. We can also assume that any negative energy we seemingly experience is caused by our own manifestation through repeatedly focusing on negative thoughts and feelings. To release our negative experiences we simply change how we think and feel to attract that which we would rather experience.

Cuneiform tablet case impressed with two cylinder seals

Kanesh was part of the network of trading settlements established in Armenian highland by merchants from Ashur (in Assyria in northern Mesopotamia) in the early second millennium B.C. Travelling long distances, and often living separately from their families, these merchants traded vast quantities of goods, primarily tin and textiles, for Armenian copper and other materials. Although the merchants adopted many aspects of local Armenian life, they brought with them Mesopotamian tools used to record transactions: cuneiform writing, clay tablets and envelopes, and cylinder seals. Using a simplified version of the elaborate cuneiform writing system, merchants tracked loans as well as business deals and disputes, and sent letters to families and business partners back in Ashur. At Kanesh, thousands of these texts stored in household archives were preserved when fire destroyed the city in ca. 1836 B.C. Because the tablets document the activities of Assyrian merchants, they provide a glimpse into the complex and sophisticated commercial interactions that took place in the Near East during the beginning of the second millennium B.C.
The tablet contained in this case represents one such document and records court testimony describing an ownership dispute. The case is sealed with two different cylinder seals belonging to the two witnesses to the deposition, rolled across the front, back, and sides. Both seal impressions show scenes in which worshippers approach a larger seated figure, probably a divinity, holding a cup. While the use of the cylinder seal, rather than the stamp seal, was typically Mesopotamian, the seal carving was a visual hybrid that mixed elements such as the procession to a seated deity, a Mesopotamian motif, and an Armenian style that emphasized features such as the large eyes of the figures, in a manner that offers further evidence for the cultural interaction between the two areas.

In 20th-18th centuries BC there was a highway of metal trade in the northern part of Western Asia, which extended from Kanesh (a small town in eastern part of Asia Minor) to Ashur. More than thirty residences of Armenian highland were connected with the highway, from where various metals, such as gold, silver, copper, tin, etc. were exported. In cuneiform inscriptions found in Kanesh ten Armenian princedoms are mentioned: Tsupana (Sophene), Tegarama (Togarma, Torgoma tun (house of Torgom)), Khakh(um), Tugrish and others.

Sin(x) & Cos(x).


The snakes do not represent DNA so much as they represent Sin & Cos graphing of Karma for spiritual magic. One learns how to mathematically graph karma, in order to perform alchemy for a desired outcome!

For now the leads I have are the symbolism in a modern contract and responsibility or honor is signed for or cosigned on behalf. One can have a cos-sign to remove responsibility from one party to the other.
Another lead is that from a very old translation of Quuran and Holy Bible we have trespassing and "Sin". Clearly not limited to a trespass. But the simple fact the word sin is used in this way is a lead possibly connecting bad deeds with a graph sin(x).

In Scripture contracts moral obligations are measured by Sin and Cos which is yet another clue that the divine ratio we call Fibonacci takes place in all aspects of nature. In fact like physics, Fibonacci is the Law!
Mathematics is the key to all that is and even that which is not. It will be very interesting when I release my report on this subject.
While we rarely if ever have the chance to read the writing from the walls directly. In some cases its no longer possible. We all must rely on interpretations filtered by personal agendas and beliefs, the craft arts have become so contaminated its hard to know which order to trust.

But graphing bad deeds and negative emotions and acts with Sin(x) & blood ritual sacrifice as Cos(x), is extremely interesting because the simple act of graphing this will reveal the secrets of real magik! It will also reveal the secrets of the messiah.

Exile is a form of punishment in which one has to leave one's home (whether that be on the level of city, region, or nation-state) while either being explicitly refused permission and/or being threatened by prison or death upon return. It is common to distinguish between internal exile, forced resettlement within the country of residence, and external exile, deportation outside the country of residence.
When an entire people or ethnic population is forced or induced to leave their traditional homelands, it is called a diaspora. Throughout history, numerous nations have been forced into diasporas. For the Jews, whose diaspora lasted more than two thousand years, until the founding of the modern State of Israel in 1948, theological reflection on the meaning of exile has led to the insight that God, who dwells amongst his people, also lives and suffers in exile.
Exile can also be a self-imposed departure from one's homeland. Self-exile is often practiced as form of protest or to avoid persecution or prosecution for criminal activity.

Whatever the cause or circumstances, exile necessarily causes emotional pain to all involved. Leaving one's homeland means breaking the first and most essential bonds developed to one's family, community, and the natural environment. Prevented from reuniting with those people and places cherished from youth, human hearts can never be whole.

History


 

Exile, also called banishment, has a long tradition as a form of punishment. It was known in ancient Rome, where the Senate had the power to exile individuals, entire families, or countries (which amounted to a declaration of war).
The towns of ancient Greece also used exile both as a legal punishment and, in Athens, as a social punishment. In Athens during the time of democracy, the process of "ostracism" was devised in which one man who was a threat to the stability of the society was banished from the city without prejudice for ten years, after which he was allowed to return. Among the more famous recipients of this punishment were Themistocles, Cimon, and Aristides the Just. Further, Solon the lawgiver voluntarily exiled himself from Athens after drafting the city's constitution, to prevent being pressed to change it.
In the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, a court of law could sentence a noble to exile (banicja). As long as the exile (banita) remained in the Commonwealth, he had a price on his head and lost the privileges and protection granted to him as a noble. Even killing a banita was not considered a crime, although there was no reward for his death. Special forms of exile were accompanied by wyświecenie (a declaration of the sentence in churches) or by issuance of a separate declaration to townfolk and peasantry, all of them increased the knowledge of the exile and thus made his capture more likely. A more severe penalty than exile was "infamy" (infamia): A loss of honor and respect (utrata czci i wiary) in addition to exile.

    அவனுடைய சொத்துக்கள் பறிமுதல் செய்யப்பட்டு, அவனுடைய
குடும்பத்தினரும் ஆதரவற்றவர்களாக்கப்படுவார்கள். ப்ரஷ்டனுடைய
குடும்பத்தினர் என்ற வகையில் அவர்களுக்கு யாரும் உதவி செய்யக்கூடாது.

    அவனுக்குக் கொடுக்கப்படும் கெடுவுக்குள் அவன் செல்லவில்லை யென்றால் சித்திரவதைக்கு ஆளாகி முடிவில் கொல்லப்படுவான்.
  
    இன்னொரு நாட்டுக்குச் சென்றாலும்கூட அவன் ஒரு 'ப்ரஷ்டன்' என்பதைக் கண்டுபிடித்துவிடுவார்கள். என்ன காரணத்துக்காக அவன் ப்ரஷ்டம் செய்யப்பட்டான் என்பதை கவனத்தில் கொள்வார்கள். ப்ரஷ்டத்துக்கு ஆளாகியவன் சமுதாயத்தால் ஒதுக்கப்பட்டவன்தான். எங்கு போனாலும் அவனுக்கு மரியாதை இருக்காது. இன்னொரு நாட்டிலும் அவன் ஒதுக்கப் பட்டவனாகவும் தாழ்த்தப்பட்டவனாகவும் உரிமைகள் அற்றவனாகவும்தான் கருதப்படுவான். மற்றவர்களுக்காக இருக்கும் சட்டங்களின் பாதுகாப்பும் அவனுக்கு இருக்காது.
    ஒருநாட்டின் ப்ரஷ்டன் இன்னொரு நாட்டில் ஆதரிக்கப்பட்டால் அது முந்தைய நாட்டை அவமதிப்பதாகும்.
    அவன் அரசியல் காரணங்களுக்காக நாடு கடத்தப்பட்டு, அவனுடைய நாட்டுமன்னனுக்கு விரோதியாக இருக்கக்கூடிய இன்னொரு நாட்டுக்குச் சென்று, அந்த நாட்டில் அவனுக்கு asylum கிடைக்கக்கூடும். ஆனால் எல்லாருக்கும் இந்த வாய்ப்பு கிட்டாது அல்லவா?
    இப்படிச் செய்வது பல சமயங்களில் ஓர் Act of War என்று கருதப் படுவதுமுண்டு.

    ஏதாவது அநாமத்துத் தீவில் கொண்டுபோய் இறக்கிவிட்டுவிடுவதும்
உண்டு.
    தீவாந்தர சிட்சைக்கென்று சில தீவுகள் வைத்திருந்தார்கள். தண்டனைக்குரியவர்களை அத்தகைய தீவுகளில் காவலில் வைப்பார்கள். சில தீவுகளில் சும்மா விட்டுவிடுவார்கள். சில தீவுகளில் கடுமையான காவலுடன் கூடிய சிறைச்சாலைகள் இருக்கும். பிற்காலத்தில் அந்தமான், Devils Island, Alcatraz போன்றவை இருந்தன.
    பினாங்கும் தீவாந்தர சிட்சைக்குரிய இடமாகத்தான் இருந்தது.
1801-இலேயே அது அவ்வாறு இயங்கியது. அங்கு பலகாலமாக அந்தத்
தீவின்வாசிகள் வசித்துவந்தனர். அவர்கள் ஏற்கனவே அங்கு இருந்தவர்கள்.
தீவாந்தர சிட்சைக்கு ஆளாகியவர்களை கூலிவேலைக்குப் பயன் படுத்தினார்கள்.
    அந்தக் காலத்தில் தீவாந்தர சிட்சைக்குரியவர்களின் நெற்றியிலும்
அடையாளக்குறி வைத்தார்கள். பிரிட்டிஷ்காரர்கள் நம்பர் போட்டு விட்டார்கள்.
    இந்தக் குறிகளை அழிப்பதற்குரிய Plastic Surgeryகூட இருந்தது. கன்னத்திலிருந்து Skin Graft எடுத்து நெற்றியில் ஒட்டிவிட்டார்கள்.
    இந்த ப்லாஸ்ட்டிக் ஸர்ஜரியைப் பற்றிய பழைய இழையை அகத்திய ஆவணத்தில் பார்க்கலாம்.

    கப்பப் பாக்கி, வரி, வட்டி, கிஸ்தி, வசூல் என்ற பிரச்னைகள் இருந்து கொண்டேயிருந்தன.
    அப்போது இந்தியாவில் வெகுவேகமாக பிரிட்டிஷ் கிழக்கிந்தியக்
கம்பெனியின் ஆதிக்கம் பரவிக்கொண்டிருந்ததால், பிரிட்டிஷ்காரர்களை தம் பக்கம் இழுத்துக்கொண்டால் நல்லது என்று நினைத்து கும்பினியில் அதிகாரியாக இருந்த Francis Light என்பவர் மூலமாக் கடாரத்து சுல்த்தான் கும்பினியுடன் ஒப்பந்தம் செய்துகொண்டார்.
    அதன் மூலம் கடாரத்துக்குச் சொந்தமான 140 சதுரமைல்கள் பரப்பளவு கொண்ட தீவாகிய பினாங்கை அவர்களுக்கு வர்த்தகம், படையிருப்பு ஆகியவற்றுக்காகக் கொடுப்பதென முடிவாகியது.
    அந்த இடத்தில் பிரிட்டிஷ்காரர்கள் இருந்தால் சையாம் வாலாட்டாது என்ற எண்ணம்.
    ஆகவே பினாங்கை ஓசியாக வாங்கிக்கொண்டு அதற்கு Prince of Wales Island என்று பெயரிட்டார்கள். அப்போது இங்கிலாந்து மன்னராக இருந்த மூன்றாம் ஜார்ஜின் பேரால் பினாங்குத்தீவின் ஒரு பகுதியில் Georgetown என்ற ஊரை ஏற்படுத்தினர். அங்கு ஏற்கனவே மக்கள் இருந்தனர். பிரிட்டிஷார் ஏற்படுத்தியது ஒரு Grid-plan படி ஆறுவீதிகள், ஆறு குறுக்குத்தெருக்கள் கொண்ட அமைப்பு. அதிலிருந்து வடக்கும் தெற்குமாய் பல பாகங்களுக்கும்
செல்லும் வீதிகள்.
    அத்துடன் ஒரு கோட்டையையும் கட்டிக்கொண்டனர். மலாக்கா ஜலசந்தியைக் காவல் புரியும்வண்ணமும் தென்கிழக்காசியா, கல்கத்தா, மதராஸ் ஆகியவற்றுடன் நேரடித் தொடர்பு கொண்டதாகவும் அக்கோட்டையும் பட்டனமும் விளங்கியது.
    அமெரிக்காவில் ஜார்ஜ் வாஷிங்ட்டனிடம் தோல்வியுற்றுத் திரும்பிய Lord Cornwallis பிரபு இந்தியாவின் கவர்னர் ஜெனரலாக இருந்தார். ஆகவே அவருடைய பெயரையே அந்தக் கோட்டைக்கு வைத்தனர். தோத்துப்போன ஆசாமிக்கு இப்படி ஒரு யோகம், பாருங்கள். The Patriot படத்தில் அவருடைய கால்சட்டை, அண்டர்வேர், முதற்கொண்டு நாய்கள்வரைக்கும் Mel Gibson கைப்பற்றி வைத்துக்கொண்டு போனால்போகிறதென்று திருப்பிக்கொடுப்பதாகக் காட்டுவார்கள். அற்புதமான படம். மெல் கிப்ஸனின் முத்திரை பதிந்த படம்.




    ஆனால் பினாங்கில் வர்த்தகத்துக்கு அதிகம் வாய்ப்பில்லை.
    அதை ஏதாவது ஒரு காரியத்துக்குப் பயன்படுத்த வேண்டுமே. சும்மா வேஸ்ட்டாப் போடமுடியுதே. கும்பினி கணக்குக் கேட்குமே. இல்லையா, பின்னே.
    ஆகவே அதை தீவாந்திர சிட்சைக்குரிய இடமாக ஆக்கிவிட்டார்கள்.
    அப்போது கர்நாட்டிக் நாட்டின் பாளையக்காரர்கள் போராட்டத்தில் சம்பந்தப்பட்டவர்களில் தூக்கில் போடப்படாதவர்களையும் சந்தியில் வைத்து சாட்டையடி வாங்காதவர்களையும் பினாங்குக்கு தீவாந்தர சிட்சையில் கும்பினி அனுப்பியது.
    ஆர்காட்டு நவாபின் ஆட்சிக்குட்பட்ட பகுதிதான் கர்நாட்டிக் நாடு. அந்த ஆளின் பதவிக்குப் பெயரே Nawab of Carnaticதான். திப்பு சுல்த்தானின் மைசூர், ஏதோ ஒரு ராவ்ஜியின் தஞ்சாவூர், என்னமோ ஒரு வர்மாவுடைய திருவாங்கூர் போன்றவை நீங்கலாக உள்ள தமிழ்நாடு - அதுதான் கர்நாட்டிக். இப்போதுள்ள கர்நாடகா இல்லை. இது வேறு.
    1820-ஆம் ஆண்டு பினாங்கில் தீவாந்திர சிட்சையின்கீழ் 200 பேர் இருந்தனர்.
    அவர்களில் ஒருவர் துரைச்சாமி சேர்வைக்காரர்.

    எப்படி இத்தனை கணக்காகச் சொல்கிறேன்?
