எந்தச் சிறகையும்
சிக்கெடுக்கும் நேரத்திலும்
சிதைத்ததில்லை.
எந்த அலகிலும்
முத்தம் இட மறந்ததில்லை.
இருந்தாலும்
அத்தனை பறவைகளும்
என்னை விட்டுப் பறந்து
எங்கோ போய்விட்டன.
நீந்தி வந்து
இரைகொத்தும் என்
நீச்சல் குள மீன்கள் கூட
சத்தமின்றித்
தோணியேறி
அடுத்த ஆற்றுக்கு
அவசரமாய் சென்று விட்டன.

நான் பிரிந்த
தனிமை எனக்கு.
