A 5th century marble Ganesha found in Gardez, Afghanistan, now at Dargah Pir Rattan Nath, Kabul. The inscription says that this "great and beautiful image of Mahāvināyaka" was consecrated by the Shahi King Khingala.

Hindu's lived many places in western asia ....sadly after their destruction by islam ....the artifacts are now being sold by locals to make a living !!!

!!!கடலுக்கு அடியில் 8,500 அடி ஆழத்தில் வாழும் மர்ம ஜந்து !!!

கியூபா நாட்டுக்கு அருகாமையில் பஹமாஸ் ஏனும் நாடு உள்ளது. சிறியதும் பெரியதுமாக சுமார் 3,000 தீவுகளை உள்ளடக்கிய நாடே பஹமாஸ் ஆகும். அத்தீவுகளின் கடலில் சில விஞ்ஞானிகள் ஆராட்சியில் ஈடுபட்டிருந்தனர். அவர்கள் கமரா பொருத்தப்பட்ட இயந்திரம் ஒன்றை கடலுக்கு அடியில் செலுத்தி ஆராட்சிகளை மேற்கொண்டனர்.
கடல் மேல்மட்டத்தில் இருந்து சுமார் 8,500 அடி ஆழ்ப்பத்தில் இப்பரிசோதனைகள் நடைபெற்றது. திடீரென ஒரு நாள் கடலுக்கு அடியில் இருந்த இயந்திரத்தில் இருந்து காட்சிகள் கிடைக்கப்பெறவில்லை. இதனை அடுத்து இந்த இயந்திரத்தை வெளியே எடுத்துப் பார்த்தால் விஞ்ஞானிகள் அதிர்ந்து போனார்கள். காரணம் கமராவின் வயர்கள் கடிக்கப்பட்டு துண்டாடப்பட்டிருந்தன.
அக்கடலில் அவ்வளவு ஆளத்தில் சுறா மீன்கள் வசிக்க முடியாத நிலை உள்ளது. அப்படி என்றால் எந்தவகையான மீன்கள் இவற்றைக் கடிக்கும் தன்மை கொண்டவை என்று அவர்கள் குழம்பிப்போனார்கள். இறுதியில் இயந்திரத்தைச் சரிசெய்து திரும்பவும் அதே இடத்தில் இறக்கினார்கள்.
ஆனால் இம் முறை, அந்த மர்ம ஜந்து மாட்டிக்கொண்டது. காரணம் அது மீண்டும் இந்த இயந்திரத்தை கடிக்க வந்தபோது, அதன் உருவம் கமராவில் பதிவாகியது. அது மட்டுமல்லாது சுமார் ஒன்றரை அடி நீளமான இந்தப் புதுவகையான ஜந்துவையும் அவர்கள் சாமர்த்தியமாகப் பிடித்துவிட்டார்கள். அதன் கால்களும் மற்றும் வாய்ப் பகுதிகளிலும் காணப்படும் கூரிய நகங்கள், வாள்போன்றவை என விஞ்ஞானிகள் தெரிவித்துள்ளனர்.
7 கால்களைக் கொண்ட இந்த ஜந்து இதுவரை பூமியில் கண்டுபிடிக்கப்படாத ஒரு இனம் ஆகும். பாத்திநோமஸ் ஜயன்டியஸ் என்று அழைக்கப்படும் இனத்தில் இதனை இணைத்துள்ளார்கள். விஞ்ஞானிகள். கடலுக்கு அடியில் சுமார் 8,500 அடி ஆழத்தில் வாழும் இந்த உயிரினம், தனது குடியிருப்புக்கு அருகாமையில் வித்தியாசமான ஒரு பொருள் இருப்பதை உணர்ந்து அதனை தாக்கியுள்ளது. இது வசிக்கும் பிரதேசத்தில் எப்போதும் வெளிச்சம் இருப்பதே இல்லை. காலம் முழுவதும் இருட்டில் வாழும் இனங்களில் இதுவும் ஒன்று ஆகும்.

Yazh (Ancient Indian Instrument)

The yazh (yaaḻ) is an harp used in ancient Tamil music which was the ancestor of modern day veena. It was named so, because the tip of stem of this instrument was carved into the head of the mythological animal Yali. The yazh was an open-stringed polyphonous instrument, with gut strings (narambu) with a wooden boat-shaped skin-covered resonator and an ebony stem.

Thiruvalluvar, the 200 BC Tamil poet, mentions yazh in his work Thirukkural. Many major Tamil classical literary masterpieces written during Sangam period dating back 200 BC have mentioned the yazh. Silappatikaram, written by a Tamil king Ilango Adigal, mentions four kinds of yazhs:

• Periyazh, 21 strings
• Makarayazh, 19 strings
• Cakotayazh, 14 strings
• Cenkottiyazh, 7 strings

Other types of yazh are:

• Mayil Yazh - resembling a peacock
• Vil Yazh - resembling a bow

The Tamil literature Perumpāṇāṟṟuppaṭai says the strings of a yazh should not have any twists in them. Silappatikaram mentions four types of defects in yazh. Other Tamil literature which have mentions on yazh are Seevaga Sindhamani and Periya Puranam.[7] Yazh are seen in sculptures in the Darasuram and Thirumayam temples in Tamil Nadu and also in Amaravathi village, Guntur district.[8] Swami Vipulananda has written a book of scientific research in Tamil called the Yal Nool

This particular instrument has a great history in Indian literatures but in today's world hardly people learn and play it. Yazh is called as Royal Harp which is famous in western countries. It is more and more becoming a western instrument than Indian instrument. In many cases we are loosing grip on our culture and tradition. One day others will claim the proprietorship of all Indian tradition. Indians are becoming more aliens to their culture and tradition.

டியான்சி மலைதான்.

அமைவிடம் :-
சீனாவின் ஹூணான் மாகாணத்தில்
உள்ள வுலிங்யூன் மாவட்டத்தில்,
ஷாங்ஜியாஜி நகரில், இந்த டியான்சி
மலை அமைந்துள்ளது.
இதன் அருகில் க்சோக்ஷியு
பள்ளத்தாக்கும் உள்ளது.

டியான்ஷி என்றால் ’சொர்க்கத்தின்
மகன்’(Son of Heaven) என்று பெயர். இந்த பெயர் விளங்கக் காரணம், அந்த மலை அருகில் வசிக்கும் உள்ளூர்
விவசாயிகள் துஜியா இனக்குழு என
அழைக்கப்பட்டனர். அவர்களுடைய எழுச்சியும் வளர்ச்சியும் வெற்றிபெற்றதால், அதற்கு
இந்த மலையும் ஒரு காரணமாக
நினைத்தனர். அந்த மகிழ்ச்சியில் இந்த
பெயரை அவர்களின் தலைவனான
ஷியாங் துகன் வைத்தார்.

இந்த பெயரில் சீன பேரரசரின் பாரம்பரிய பட்டப்பெயரும் உள்ளது ஒரு
சுவாரஸ்யம்... இந்த மலைக்கு வெளியில் மார்பிள் தயாரிக்கப்படுவது
அதன்புகழுக்கு இன்னும் ஒரு மகுடம்
ஆகும்.

இந்த மலை சீனாவின் சிறந்த சுற்றுலா
தலங்களில் ஒன்றாக விளங்குகிறது.

8 and 14 - Bleeding cup - used to suck blood out by the use of fire
11 - Portable ointment box or unguentarium

தெய்வங்களுக்கு வாழைப்பழம் படைப்பது ஏன்?

எல்லா தெய்வங்களுக்கும் தவறாமல் வாழைப்பழம் படைக்கிறார்கள். மற்ற எந்தப் பழமாக இருந்தாலும்

சாப்பிட்டுவிட்டு, கொட்டையைப் போட்டால் அந்த விதையிலிருந்து மாமரம் உருவாகிறது.

ஆனால், தேங்காயை சாப்பிட்டுவிட்டு ஓட்டைப்
போட்டால் அது முளைக்காது. முழுத்தேங்காயிலிருந்து தான் தென்னைமரம் முளைக்கும். அது போல, வாழைமரத்திலிருந்து தான் வாழைக்கன்று வரும். பழம் கொட்டை என்பது கிடையாது.

அப்படி நமது # எச்சில்படாத இவற்றை இறைவனுக்கு உகந்ததாக நமது முன்னோர்கள் படைக்கும் மரபினை
உருவாக்கினார்கள். நாமும் இந்த மரபினைப் பின்பற்றிவருகிறோம்.

Invisible Power Of The Subconscious

There is an invisible force that rules the human will. This force is easily controlled and 
this is dangerous because it may be controlled not only by the man who owns it but 
by everyone else. It is commonly believed that the human is a being with free will. 
But is it really like that?

Experiments on people in hypnotic trance have shown that there is a mechanism 
which accepts all the given commands and then applies them to a person showing 
its ultimate authority on him.

What exactly happens? Who has the ultimate authority in material life? The truth
is that the absolute power belongs to the consciousness. It controls and directs 
every action according to the accepted commands, beliefs and instructions. But if it is so, 
then what do we call subconscious?

Subconscious is a “file” which brings together all the things which have not been
processed in a conscious way. Those that are invisible for the consciousness will go 
there and then will be fed with the data of the left hemisphere which is supposed to
process logical events and situations.

The penetration of facts, beliefs and commands when carried out under a hypnotic 
suggestion does not include the logical part of the brain (left hemisphere), which 
means that it can’t process and reject these elements.

The subconscious has a self-evident weakness which can be useful but also fatal. It is 
inconceivable to recognize the lie from the truth. Whatever it accepts under certain 
conditions (which will be analyzed below), it takes for the truth and not only. 
The subconscious considers that it must be done and that it will certainly take place. 
In other people’s eyes it will look like a miracle but for the subconscious it is not because 
it can do everything.

How does it work in reality? As an example, let’s look at how advertising 
companies try to control people by understanding these 
mechanisms of subconscious power.

1. Constantly repeating statements depending on what we seek or what we want to hear.

2. Using images that affect the control centers of the human brain. When a war movie 
is released, everyone who is talking about it causes mental images in his mind. The more 
you talk about it the more vivid the images become, and the subconscious thinks that 
they must become true. Pay little attention to what they are trying to focus the attention
of the world on and learn what will happen in the near future.

3. Intense emotions associated with events that retrieve corresponding images. 
Fear is the strongest emotion and it is not surprising that it is widely used by those 
who want to achieve their purpose.

This threefold of statement, image and emotion is a creation material for the 
subconscious. It shapes them into a datum and transfers it into the center of decision
making in the left hemisphere. Everything else is just a matter of time.

The ideal circumstance for such a process is the Alpha state of mind at which the brain
waves fall from the level of alertness. But you can benefit from this effect: if you want 
to avoid being controlled by others, make sure you are permanently conscious to filter all 
data.

Remember that whatever you accept as true will happen, even if it is not accepted 
commonly.

Ancient Scythia was centered on the Pontic-Caspian steppe and ranged from modern Kazakhstan to the Baltic coast of modern Poland and to Georgia.

The identities of the nomadic peoples of the steppes is often uncertain, and the term “Scythian” should often be taken loosely. In the earlier period Scythian art included very vigorously modeled stylized animal figures, shown singly or in combat, that had a long-lasting and very wide influence on other Eurasian cultures as far apart as China and the European Celts.
As the Scythians came in contact with the Greeks at the Western end of their area, their artwork influenced Greek art, and was influenced by it.

The Scythians were known for their horsemanship and the equipment of a Scythian warrior was minimal, limited to what could be carried while riding or in hand-to-hand combat. This is already been known to damage birds, fish and bees and is probably a culprit for Colony Collapse Disorder or CCD, where bees become disoriented because of the microwave frequency cell phone towers and cellular phone radiation and can’t make it back to their hives. This is really not good for the balance in nature, as well as our food production. It is also very dangerous to infants and children whose brains are still developing.

Novel stem cell line avoids risk of introducing transplanted tumors

Researchers describe a new "progenitor cell" capable of unlimited expansion and differentiation into mature kidney cells, but without the risk of forming tumors.

They engineered an in vitro microenvironment that permitted homogenous expansion of hPSC progenitor cells from the mesoderm - one of the three primary germ layers in early embryonic development. A germ layer is a primary layer of cells that form during embryogenesis. Progenitor cells are early descendants of stem cells, with more limited differentiation capacity.

Analyses showed that these newly created "mesoderm progenitors" lacked tumor-forming potential, but retained the capacity to differentiate into specific kinds of tissue, such as cells that comprise the adult kidney.

The researchers said the ability to generate expandable populations of progenitor cells with limited differentiation presents several advantages over the use of undifferentiated human stem cells:

First, cultures derived from the latter often harbor undifferentiated cells that retain the potential to seed tumor growth.

Second, development and manipulation of lineage-restricted progenitors is less elaborate. It's easier to create mature cell populations for research or therapeutic use.

Third, because progenitor cells are limited in what kind of cell they can be, they are less likely than stem cells to differentiate into an unwanted cell type.

தமிழகத்தில் சிவகங்கை மாவட்டம், திருபத்தூர் வட்டம், சிங்கம்புணரி என்னும் கிராமத்தில் நாடார் பேட்டையில் 1920_ஆம் ஆண்டு ஆகஸ்டு 12_ஆம் தேதி ப. சிங்காரம் பிறந்தார். தந்தை மூக்க நாடார் என்ற கு. பழநிவேல் நாடார் ; தாயார் பெயர் உண்ணாமலை அம்மாள். இவர்களுக்கு சிங்காரம் மூன்றாவது மகன். அப்போது, சிங்காரத்தின் தந்தை, அண்ணன்கள் ப. சுப்பிரமணியம், ப. பாஸ்கரன் மற்றும் அவரது தாத்தா ப. குமாரசாமி நாடார் ஆகியோர் சேர்ந்து சிங்கம்புணரியில் ஜவுளி வியாபாரம் செய்து வந்தனர்.

சிங்காரம், சிங்கம்புணரி தொடக்கப்பள்ளியில் ஆரம்பக் கல்வியும், பின்னர் மதுரை செயிண்ட் மேரிஸ் உயர்நிலைப் பள்ளியில் பள்ளிப் படிப்பும் பயின்றார். 1938_ஆம் ஆண்டு செ.கா. சின்னமுத்துப்பிள்ளை என்கிற சிங்கம்புணரிக்காரர் இந்தோனேஷியாவில் மைடான் என்ற இடத்தில் நடத்தி வந்த வட்டிக் கடையில் வேலை செய்வதற்காக கப்பலில் சென்றார். 1940_ஆம் ஆண்டு இந்தியா திரும்பினார். பின்னர் மீண்டும் இந்தோனேஷியா சென்று அங்கு மராமத்துத் துறை அலுவலகத்தில் பணியில் சேர்ந்தார். இச்சமயத்தில் தென்கிழக்காசிய யுத்தம் மூண்டது. யுத்தம் முடிந்ததும் இந்தோனேஷிய இராணுவ அரசின் அனுமதி பெற்று, பினாங்குக்குக் கப்பலில் சரக்குகள் அனுப்பும் வர்த்தகத்தைச் சில தமிழர்களுடன் சேர்ந்து செய்தார்.

யுத்த காலத்தில் இந்தோனேஷியாவை ஜப்பான் துருப்புகள் கைப்பற்றியபோது அங்கிருந்த நூலகம் சூறையாடப்பட்டு, புத்தகங்கள் தெருவில் வாரிக் கொட்டப்பட்டிருக்கின்றன. இச்சந்தர்பத்தில் நூலகத்தில் பணியாற்றிய நண்பர் ஒருவர் மூலம் சிங்காரத்துக்கு பல ஆங்கில நூல்கள் கிடைத்தன. அப்போது, குறிப்பாக ஆங்கில நாவல் வாசிப்பு சிங்காரத்துக்கு ஏற்பட்டது. அவரை வெகுவாகக் கவர்ந்த எழுத்தாளர் ஹெமிங்வே.

1946_ஆம் ஆண்டு மீண்டும் இந்தியா திரும்பிய சிங்காரம் பின்னர் மீண்டும் இந்தோனேஷியா செல்ல திட்டமிட்டார். ஆனால் கடைசிவரை அங்கு செல்லாமல் மதுரையிலேயே தங்கிவிட்டார். 1947_ஆம் ஆண்டு ‘தினத்தந்தி’ பத்திரிகையின் மதுரைச் செய்திப் பிரிவில் சேர்ந்தார். சொந்த ஊருக்கும், நெருங்கிய உறவினர்கள் வீட்டுக்கும், விசேஷ நிகழ்ச்சிகளுக்கும் செல்வதை தவிர்த்து மதுரை ஒய்.எம்.சி.ஏ.வில் தனியாக தொடர்ந்து ஐம்பது ஆண்டுகள் தங்கியிருந்தார். 1987_ஆம் ஆண்டு ‘தினத்தந்தி’யிலிருந்து விருப்ப ஓய்வு பெற்றார். 1997_ஆம் ஆண்டு ஒய்.எம்.சி.ஏ. நிர்வாகம் அவரை நிர்பந்தப்படுத்தி வெளியேற்றியது. பிறகு மதுரை, விளக்குத்தூண் அருகிலுள்ள நாடார் மேன்சனில் வாடகை அறையெடுத்து தங்கியிருந்தார். கடைசி காலத்தில் அவரது வாழ்நாள் சேமிப்பான ரூபாய் ஏழு லட்சத்தை, மதுரை நாடார் மகாஜன சங்கம் ஆண்டுதோறும் ஏழை மாணவர்களுக்கு வழங்கும் உதவித்தொகைத் திட்டத்திற்காக வழங்கினார். அப்போது தனது பெயரில் அறக்கட்டளை, புகைப்படம் திறப்பு போன்றன வேண்டாம் என்று கண்டிப்புடன் கேட்டுக் கொண்டாராம்.

நாடார் மேன்சனில் வாழ்ந்த கடைசி மூன்று மாதங்களிலும்கூட, எல்லோருடனும் சுமுகமாகப் பழகியபோதும், யாருக்கும் தொல்லை தரக்கூடாது என்று ஒதுங்கியே இருந்தார். சொந்த வாழ்க்கை பற்றியோ அந்தரங்க விஷயங்களையோ எப்போதும் அவர் யாரிடமும் பகிர்ந்து கொண்டதில்லை. இப்படி அவராக விரும்பி, தனியாக ஒதுங்கி வாழ்ந்ததற்கு, 25_வது வயதில் அவரது இளம் மனைவியும் குழந்தையும் இறந்துவிட்டது, வாழ்க்கைப் பற்றிய அவநம்பிக்கை-யையும் இறுக்கத்தையும் அவரிடம் ஏற்படுத்திவிட்டது-தான் காரணம் என்று கூறப்படுகிறது.

எழுத்துலகத்திலிருந்தும் குறிப்பாக நூல்களை பதிப்பிப்பதில் ஏற்பட்ட கசப்பான அனுபவங்கள் காரணமாகத் தொடர்ந்து எழுதாமல் ஒதுங்கிக் கொண்டார். 1950_ஆம் ஆண்டு ‘கடலுக்கு அப்பால்’ நாவலை எழுதினார். புலம் பெயர்ந்து அந்நியச் சூழலில் வாழும் தமிழர்கள் வாழ்வை களனாகக் கொண்டு எழுதப்பட்ட முதல் நாவல் இது. இதைப் பிரசுரம் செய்ய மதுரைக்கும் சென்னைக்குமாக பல தடவைகள் அலைந்தார். பின்னர் ஆனந்தவிகடன் நாவல் போட்டிக்கு அனுப்பினார், திரும்பி வந்தது. ஒன்பது வருடங்களுக்கு பிறகு 1959_ஆம் ஆண்டு கலைமகள் நாவல் போட்டியில் ‘கடலுக்கு அப்பால்’ முதல் பரிசுக்கு தேர்வு செய்யப்பட்டது. 1962_ஆம் ஆண்டு ‘புயலிலே ஒரு தோணி’ நாவலை எழுதினார். அது பத்து ஆண்டுகளாக பல பிரசுரகர்த்தர்களின் கைமாறி, கடைசியில் மலர் மன்னன் (‘1/4’ இதழை நடத்தியவர்) எடுத்துக்கொண்ட முயற்சியின் விளைவாக 1972_ஆம் ஆண்டு கலைஞன் பதிப்பகத்தால் பெரியதாகயிருக்கிறது என்கிற காரணம் சொல்லி எடிட் செய்யப்பட்டு, வெளியானது. ‘‘அதிகாரம், செல்வாக்கு, நட்பு, அரசியல் போன்ற பல குறிக்கீடுகளால் படைப்பு தீர்மானிக்கப்-படும் தமிழ்ச் சூழலில், எழுத்தாளனுடைய வேலை எழுதுவது மட்டுமே என்று ஒதுங்கியிருந்த சிங்காரம் பல காலமாகச் சற்றும் பொருட்படுத்தப்படாமல் அசட்டையாக ஒதுக்கப்பட்டிருந்தது ஆச்சர்யமில்லை’’ என்கிறார் விமர்சகரான சி. மோகன். ‘புதுயுகம் பிறக்கிறது’ பத்திரிகையில் வெளியான நாவல் பற்றிய கட்டுரையில் தொடங்கி தமிழ்ச் சூழலில் ப. சிங்காரத்தின் முக்கியத்துவத்தை தொடர்ந்து வலியுறுத்தி வந்தவர் சி. மோகன் மட்டும்தான். சிங்காரத்தின் மறைவுக்குப் பின்னர் 1999_ஆம் ஆண்டு தமிழினி பதிப்பகம் ‘புயலிலே ஒரு தோணி’, ‘கடலுக்கு அப்பால்’ இரண்டு நாவல்களையும், எடிட் செய்யப்படாத மூலப் பிரதியை தேடியெடுத்துப் பதிப்பித்தது.

ப. சிங்காரம், வாழ்வின் கடைசி 2 ஆண்டுகளாக இதய நோயால் பாதிக்கப்பட்டு சிகிச்சை பெற்று வந்தார். இந்நிலையில் 1997_ஆம் ஆண்டு டிசம்பர் 30_ஆம் நாள் விடாத வயிற்றுப்போக்கு ஏற்பட்டு மதுரை, கென்னட் மருத்துவமனையில் அனுமதிக்கப்பட்டார். அன்றே மருத்துவமனையிலிருந்து ஸ்கேன் எடுப்பதற்காக வெளியே சென்ற வழியில் ஆம்புலன்ஸிலேயே அவர் உயிர் பிரிந்தது. மதுரைக்கு அருகில் தத்தநேரி சுடுகாட்டில் அவரது உடல் அடக்கம் செய்யப்பட்டது.
