Resonance: Tapping Into The Subtle Energy Around Us

All environments have a sense of resonance, whether it be from the people that congregate there, the cultural ephemera that permeate it, the or just the general feeling of the area. This resonance, which can be detected any number of ways, deductive reasoning, intuition, spiritual senses or even just common sense, can have a major influence on how this environment affects the people both in it, and passing through it. Most environment’s resonance simply reaffirms the intention of whatever the builder or most successful owner had in mind. If it’s a grocery store, it’ll probably resonate like a grocery store. Some environments, however, are sensitive to cultural influence. The best example of this would be the DMV (Department of Motor Vehichles). While normally just a minor inconvenience, just how inconvenient it is gets magnified by complaint and passive dread, and what is normally an office is now a vortex of just generally ugly energy.
Sometimes events can color an environment as well; houses being haunted is a perfect example of this. On the opposite end of the spectrum, performances or generally good times had can change a bar or even a book store from resonating with only the foundation energy (Just being those things) to also being a well for good energy to accumulate into. The primary concept behind environmental resonance is that the environment’s energy influences all whom are inside of it in a certain way relevant to said resonance. Most don’t even notice it, and just treat it as reacting to their environment, but they are most certainly affected by it. Those who aren’t are generally either the product of some sort of spiritual training or simply incredibly willful people.

The most powerful factor of this concept is that environments can be consciously created, and their resonance used to their fullest potential. Even those who aren’t christian can feel the raw power that lives inside of a cathedral, or the sticky tension that dwells in a courtroom. Sometimes these are even created in tandem with resonance already present, such as the powerful vistas of a state park, or the tiny house overshadowed by a thousand year old oak. Your environment can truly mean a lot, and choosing to be aware of the general resonance of an area can grant you a new spectrum of strength. Take a good look at your world, it has a lot to say.
